  • Headache
  • Eye ache
  • Tired eyes.
  • Itchy eyes
  • Burning eyes.
  • Dry or watery eyes
  • Poor self esteem.
  • Poor social skills.
  • Avoids reading.
  • Spots or flashes.
  • Double vision.
  • Uses finger to read
  • Clumsy
  • Blur at a distance (chalk board, signs, TV)
  • Blur at near (reading, computer)
  • Night driving difficulties
  • Trouble judging distance or depth
  • Holding book very close (25 cm or closer)
  • Print jumps or shakes
  • Skips or re-read lines reading.
  • Difficulty remembering what was read.
  • Poor hand writing or printing
  • Reverses letters or numbers.
  • Misaligns digits in columns of numbers.
  • Light sensitivity indoors or outdoors
  • Closes one eye when reading or in the sun.
  • Poor eye contact when speaking
  • Short attention span or poor concentration
  • Bumps into furniture, door jambs, etc.
  • Fine motor difficulties (cutting with scissors, printing)
  • Poor hand eye co-ordination (e.g. catching a ball)
  • Nausea, car sick or dizziness.
  • Loses place when looking from desk work to chalkboard
